“Nissan is going to pull somebody’s chestnuts out of the fire,” Kouichi Sugimoto, an analyst at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley, wrote in a report Wednesday.
Now gimme a new Starion/Silvia cross-platform to rival the GT86/BRZ.

If they do a Starion/Silvia, they need to do a Renault version of that too! Because we need more cheap RWD coupes over here in Europe!

New lineups:
Datsun- cheap utilitarian Nissans
Mirage/Versa (110)
Juke (310x)
Sentra (510)
Rogue (610x)
Frontier (Truck)
—Nissan- starts with the higher trimmed juke, drop Versa and Sentra.
I think dividing the current Nissan lineup could help focus on higher margin vehicles like the Murano and Titan. It’s odd those sharing a lot with cars 1/5th the price.

Rat out partner’s cheating, buy them up at a steep discount. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I always thought the Pajero would sell well in the US. Kinda like a budget Land Cruiser.
I also have an irrational desire for this 2 door version:

Nissan should position Mitsubishi as the "old school" brand. Bring back the Mighty Max. The boxy Montero or Pajero. And an Eclipse, with flip up headlights. If they want to go after some of the sporting folks, bring back the 3000GT, but throw the Evo engine in it.

Does this mean the evo gets to come back as a rebadged gtr?
